Three Basic Steps To Proper Hair Care

Hair care is no alien language for every one of us. It's part of our everyday grind, a routine we do from sunrise to sundown. For the beauty-conscious to the hygienic, caring for the hair is like breathing. However, not everyone is acquainted with the right and proper technique of caring for those lovely tresses. Worst, we might even obtain the opposite of what we expect in our every day shampooing, combing, and brushing if we improperly do it. So before you end up saying wonderful bye to a beautiful, healthy, and shiny hair, it will be better to equip yourself now with fundamental but effective tips on proper hair care, which you could apply everyday.

Proper hair care involves three fundamental steps, which include shampooing, conditioning, and drying. Following the proper technique of executing each of these fundamental steps wouldn't only give you long-lasting beautiful hair but also save you from complicated, expensive, and even more detrimental hair treatments.

Shampooing. Before hitting the shower, it's advised that you comb your hair first to let it hang freely so we could prevent tangles when we wash it. Rinse it with warm water first before applying the rich lather of shampoo into your hair. Work the shampoo from the scalp and gently massage it with your fingertips. Avoid over rubbing your scalp and keep your hair hanging naturally. Let running water rinse your hair while caressing it downward with your fingers again gently to avoid friction, which could undermine the hair.

Conditioning. After you have completely rinsed off all the shampoo from you hair, gently squeeze out surplus water and apply the conditioner, which should be spread evenly over your hair. Hair care experts say that conditioners are really meant to moisturize and soften the hair so never mind applying some to the scalp. Leave the conditioner in your hair for two minutes then rinse it with running water. Again, let your fingers caress it downwards to perfectly wash off the conditioner.

Drying. Carefully pat your hair with a clean dry towel. Avoid rubbing you hair to dry. Comb your damp hair with a wide-toothed comb to loosen the tangles and to aid dry the hair naturally. If you're in a hurry and need quick drying, you could use a hair dryer or blower but lowest speed and lowest heat setting must be used. Do not concentrate the hair dryer in one spot to avoid drying out the hair's moisture leading to permanent damage. Instead, keep the dryer moving continuously around your head.

Hair care requirements not to be expensive. Only a little knowledge on how to properly do it will do the works in attaining that best looking radiantly shiny hair.
