    Hair: Beauty'S All-Time Main Attraction

Girls flip and flaunt it. Whether short or long, straight or curl, hair is one of the the bulk essential parts of the body that totally allows every girl anywhere in the world to thoroughly show their girlishness and the bulk importantly exhibit their spellbinding beauty. Definitely, it won't be called "the crowning glory" for nothing. In fact, almost all women and even men, from the fashion-conscious to the practical, spend many of time, money, and energy to obtain their hair done and attain the ideal look that would match their lifestyle and personality.

So how did this bunch of threadlike tresses obtain into this status?

Hair is the thin cylindrical fibers that grow densely, an approximate of 100,000 strands, in your scalp. It could grow in black, white, or blonde, feel coarse, fine, medium, or wiry in texture, and look curly, kinky, wavy, or straight depending on what race and age you belong. It's barely impossible for one not to know what a hair is since it's the first to receive the gush of water from the shower every morning, the one you pour your costly shampoo into and one of the factors why some women spend hours in front of the mirror.

Biologically, hair especially that grows in the body serves as a protection for the bipedal humans that warms them against the cold weather and shields their skins from dirt and dust. The conscious attitude in paying more recognition to how hair should look and feel could be traced back during the ancient times.

Anthropologists say our ancestors regarded the hair as a source of remarkable strength and sexuality, which emphasized sexual attraction. Biblical character Samson, for instance, his long hair symbolized amazing strength and he lost it when Delilah cut it short. Our ancient fathers, on the other hand, had culturally based their sexual selection on how long and shiny the hair of a girl. They regard women with waist long lustrous locks as an perfect partner since it indicates a healthy woman.

That is why priests or religious leaders such as the monks and celibates in several cultures, generally, have their heads shaven to avert sexual attraction from the opposite sex who might seduce them.

Until now, hair continues to play a significant role in building an image pleasing to other people. No prize both men and women go crazy going to the parlor to have it styled, cut or trimmed and buy costly treatments to flash a softer and touchable look. With regards to beauty, hair is truly the major attraction.
